Jet2.com is the UK's third largest airline. It flies from 11 UK airports to over 65 destinations in Europe, the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands. Since their first flight in 2003, they have continued to grow their fleet and now operate over 100 aircraft. Jet2.com offers low cost flights and a high standard of service.

Jet2.com has won many awards, including being named Best Airline in the UK by TripAdvisor. It has also been shortlisted as one of the top 10 airlines in the world - the only one based in the UK. It has also been named Travel Brand of the Year 2023 by “Which?” magazine and has been awarded five stars for punctuality by OAG.

Baggage

One piece of baggage of 10kg or less and no larger than 56cm x 45cm x 25cm, including wheels and handles can be carried on board. In the case it exceeds the above restrictions, it will be put in the aircraft hold and additional charge may apply. Passengers flying with Jet2 are also allowed to bring a small bag that may accommodate, for instance, a laptop, personal belongings or airport purchase. However, it must fit underneath the seat in from of them. Hold baggage allowance is 22kg per bag. It is recommend not to exceed this limit as Jet2.com is not obliged to transport the extra baggage, plus a fee will apply (the charge per bag may differ depending on the destination).

Booking classes

Although all Jet2.com’s aircraft are configured with economy class cabins, passengers can select their preferred seats for a charge. The airline also makes it possible to book an additional seat for comfort. Extra legroom seats are available, too,  and can be booked on-line or requested at check-in at an additional cost.

Inflight meals are not included in the price of the fare when flying with Jet2.com. A wide range of snacks, meals and beverages can be purchased onboard for an extra charge. Hot meals are usually available on flights longer than 1.5 hours but they must be pre-ordered. The menu includes 11 mains for adults (including vegetarian options) as well as 4 kids’ dishes.
