Rovaniemi is a city in northern Finland, located at the confluence of the Ounasjoki and Kemi rivers, just below the Arctic Circle. It is the capital of Lapland and an important economic center for the region. Home to about 58,500 people, a significant portion of whom are students at the University of Lapland.
