Rovaniemi
Rovaniemi is a city in northern Finland, located at the confluence of the Ounasjoki and Kemi rivers, just below the Arctic Circle. It is the capital of Lapland and an important economic center for the region. Home to about 58,500 people, a significant portion of whom are students at the University of Lapland. The city is renowned for Alvar Aalto's designs, such as the library and town hall, as well as the Arktikum museum. In winter, temperatures can drop to -45.3 °C, while in summer they can rise to 30.6 °C. The ideal time to visit is summer, when the days are long and warm.
