Tromso
Tromsø, the largest city in northern Norway, is located on the island of Tromsøya, 350 km beyond the Arctic Circle. Thanks to the North Atlantic Current, the climate here is milder. In winter, you can admire the Northern Lights, while in summer, enjoy the Midnight Sun. The city is renowned for its 19th-century wooden houses and Norway's oldest cinema from 1916. Tromsø was an important starting point for polar expeditions and is known as the "Gateway to the Arctic." It's best to visit in spring or summer when temperatures are more pleasant.
