Trabzon
Trabzon is a city in northeastern Turkey, along the Black Sea, with a rich history dating back to 756 BC. Home to over 240,000 people, the entire metropolitan area exceeds 400,000. As the former capital of the Empire of Trebizond, it is an important historical and cultural hub. Trabzon attracts visitors with landmarks such as the Hagia Sophia and its Pontic-style sacred architecture. The climate is temperate, with mild winters and warm summers, making spring and autumn ideal times to visit.
