Cagliari
Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia, lies on the southern coast of the island on the gulf of the same name. It is home to around 150 thousand people. Known for a rich history reaching back to Phoenician times, the city was ruled by the Romans, the Pisans and the Aragonese.
