Havana
Havana, the capital of Cuba, lies on the Bay of Havana and is the largest city and port in the Caribbean. Founded in 1519, the city became Cuba's industrial and transport centre. It is home to the University of Havana, established in 1728. The Old Town with its colonial architecture, on the UNESCO list, is well worth visiting.
