Berlin
Berlin, the capital of Germany, is the largest city in the country and the European Union in terms of population within administrative boundaries. Located in the eastern part of Germany, between the Barnim and Teltow plateaus, Berlin is home to about 3,878,100 people. The city is intersected by the Spree and Havel rivers, as well as numerous lakes, such as Müggelsee. Berlin's rich history dates back to 1237, and after the reunification of Germany in 1990, it once again became the capital. The temperate climate makes spring and summer ideal for visits, with pleasant temperatures.
