Poznan
Poznań, on the River Warta in western Poland, is the historic capital of Greater Poland. It has more than 536 thousand inhabitants, while the whole conurbation exceeds a million. The city is known for the Poznań International Fair and for its well-developed road and air infrastructure. It is an important academic centre with 25 institutions of higher education and 110 thousand students.
