North Macedonia
North Macedonia is a country in Southern Europe, located on the Balkan Peninsula. Formed after the dissolution of Yugoslavia, it covers about 38% of the historic region of Macedonia. Home to around 2 million people, its official language is Macedonian. The capital, Skopje, is celebrated for its monumental architecture and rich history. The climate is continental, with hot summers and cool winters. Spring and autumn are the ideal seasons to visit, offering mild temperatures. Since 2020, North Macedonia has been a member of NATO.
