Malaga
Malaga is a city in southern Spain, in the Andalusia region, on the Mediterranean Sea at the foot of the Baetic Mountains. It has around 575 thousand inhabitants, with over a million across the metropolitan area. It is one of the oldest cities in Europe, inhabited since the 8th century BC. It is known for its commercial and fishing port and as a popular bathing resort on the Costa del Sol. This is the birthplace of Pablo Picasso and Antonio Banderas. Malaga is best visited in spring or autumn, when temperatures are milder, averaging 18-25°C.
