Suceava
Suceava, located in historic Moldavia, is the capital of Romanian Bukovina. Home to about 100,000 residents, including 252 Poles, Suceava was once the capital of Moldavia, leaving behind numerous landmarks such as the throne fortress and the Saint John the New Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Nearby is the Dragomirna Monastery. The city develops wood, food, and metal industries. The best time to visit is summer, when temperatures are pleasant and the landmarks are open for exploration.
