Jamaica
Jamaica is an island in the Caribbean Sea, located south of Cuba and west of Haiti. It is the third largest island in the Caribbean, covering an area of 10,991 km². The landscape is dominated by mountains, with Blue Mountain Peak reaching 2,256 meters as the highest point. The country is celebrated for its lush tropical vegetation, including the national flower, the lignum vitae, and the mahoe tree. The climate is tropical, with temperatures ranging from 24 °C in winter to 30 °C in summer. The best time to visit Jamaica is from December to April, when the weather is dry and pleasantly warm.
