Luggage
Hand luggage at Transavia France has strict dimensions and weight. Each person can bring one hand baggage onboard the plane in the price of the ticket (MAX fare passengers can take with them an additional piece of luggage, e.g. a bag or a laptop bag). Liquids should be transported in 100 ml bottles, sealed in a plastic bag with a capacity of max. 1 liter. In the case of medicines or food for children, the limits do not apply, but these things are subject to separate control.
Registered luggage in Transavia France also has exact dimensions and weight. Depending on the fare you choose upon booking, the limit on the weight of registered luggage may vary. Passengers may also purchase additional registered baggage online (lower fees) or at the airport, however, be sure not to exceed the baggage allowance per person. Each passenger can take with him up to 50 kg of registered baggage.
Booking classes
Passengers of Transavia France travel only one class – economic. However, it should be added that when booking a ticket, you can choose one of three fares: Basic, Plus or Max. Each of them has different services and fees, as well as luggage limits. For example, the Max fare provides, among others, the priority of boarding, the ability to choose a place on the plane, and an additional personal item that can be brought onboard. It is worth remembering that the Basic fare does not provide any additional points to the Flying Blue members.
Online check-in
Online check-in at Transavia France is possible and should be made on transavia.com by giving the booking number, name and date of flight, and then following the instructions and printing the boarding pass. Online check-in is possible 30 hours before the departure of the aircraft, at the latest we can check-in online 4 hours before departure. After the check-in, it is not possible to make any changes to the reservation or to add additional registered luggage online.
Fleet
The Transavia France’s fleet is modern and consists of passenger Boeing 737-800 aircrafts, known as 737NG. These machines perform cruises on short and medium distances. The carrier fleet consists of about 30 aircrafts, each of them has a one-class system and can accommodate 189 passengers. Leather passenger seats provide full travel comfort. The coloring of aircraft has been limited to 2 colors – white and green.
Paris-Orly airport in Paris
Hub of Transavia France is Paris-Orly airport, located about 13 km south of the French capital. The area of the airport is 15.3 km2. This international airport was once the main airport of Paris. The airport has two terminals – Orly Sud (south) and Orly Ouest (west) – these are separate buildings, inside which there is space for, among others, shops, services, and restaurants.
Paris-Orly is well connected with the city, it can be reached by car via the A106 motorway. When it comes to public transport, you can choose between rail and bus. Connections are carried out regularly, every few-dozen minutes. Getting to the city center by taxi takes about 20-25 minutes.
Refreshments
Onboard Transavia France aircrafts, meals and drinks are payable. The menu of the carrier includes alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, juices, snacks, and sandwiches. Passengers can also choose one of the gluten-free snacks.
You can also bring your own drinks and meals to the plane (according to the carrier's regulations), however, it is not allowed to consume alcoholic beverages bought at the airport during the flight.
Additional services
Transavia France customers can sign up for free to the Flying Blue loyalty program, and the awarded miles for flights can be exchanged for additional flights or other interesting bonuses. The program is available only as part of tickets purchased in the Plus or Max fares. There is an onboard shop. The carrier also has the Enjoy! Magazine. On the carrier's website, there is a recording and a PDF file ready for download, which contains advice on how to overcome the fear of flying.
Passengers from Transavia France can also buy a better seat on the plane at an additional charge – for example sitting at the window or a place with more space for legs. This service is available up to 48 hours before the planned journey, but it must be used before checking in online or checking in at the airport.

Everything about this airline is terrible! No Customer Service! No service in any which way! No managers to talk to if you have a problem! They never answer their telephone! Absolutely worst airline ever I would never ever tell anybody to go on this airline! Absolutely stay away stay far far far far away!!!

Delayed and Poor Baggage Delivery Times
Our Transavia flight is delayed both the times. First time, we were made to stand in the queue for over 30mts even before flight opened the doors (we were asked to complete boarding). On Mykonos-Paris flight, there is a 30mt delay and baggage took 40mts to be delivered after landing. We had to miss our connecting flight.

Good staff, poor service
Staff were friendly and helpful. However, after the flight was listed as "on time" we boarded the plane and sat on the tarmac for 90 minutes! No explanation or communication as to why. We just kept waiting... and waiting...
