Baggage
Each passenger can take on board one hand baggage of certain dimensions and weight. Passengers can choose one of two sizes of bags or suitcases. Smaller luggage can be transported under the seat. Larger luggage can be transported in the glove compartment - in case of lack of space it is placed in the luggage hatch. Passengers travelling with the Plus tariff can take one additional item, such as a laptop bag. All liquids have to be transported in packaging with a capacity of 100 ml and placed in a transparent closed bag with a volume of 1 litre.
Checked baggage in Transavia Airlines also has specified dimensions and weight and every derogate from the carrier's policy is associated with an additional fee for excess baggage. Depending on the chosen tariff, checked baggage is included in the ticket price or it's possible to buy it.
Transavia Airlines allows transportation of dogs and cats.
Booking classes
Transavia Airlines provides passengers with one booking class. Passengers can choose one of three tariffs: Basic, Plus, and Maxi. It is related to additional benefits during the flight. For example, passengers with a purchased ticket in the Maxi fare are entitled to checked baggage of a certain weight, choice of seat on the plane, making changes, such as changing the date of flight or the priority of boarding the plane. For this reason, this tariff is also recommended for business travelers.
Online check-in
Online check-in with Transavia Airlines is possible in most cases. Passengers can check-in via the mobile application or on the carrier's website. Online check-in is available 30 hours before the flight and ends, depending on the flight, 4 or 1 hour before departure. Passengers who decide to check-in via the mobile application have to download and save the boarding pass on their phone. In other cases, the boarding pass must be printed.
Online check-in is not available for passengers who check in for a flight from Dubai.
Fleet
The line focuses on modern and environmentally friendly planes. The carrier has several dozen Boeing machines, but in the past, the fleet was more diversified. Currently, it consists of Boeing 737-700 and Boeing 737-800 planes with 149 and 189 seats. Some of the machines have built-in LED lighting and comfortable seats made of ecological leather.
The carrier offers the rental of its planes, both with and without crew.
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol
The main hub of Transavia Airlines is the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, located near Amsterdam. The airport has one main extended terminal. Passengers can take advantage of a shopping center, numerous restaurants and cafes, shops, ATMs, exchange offices, services (eg spa), prayer room or relaxation room. Free WiFi works in internet centres, where you can also print your boarding pass.
People who have a longer break in travel may use the services of hotels or paid shower cabins. There is an observation deck on the top floor. Passengers can also relax in the library.
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol has several short-term and long-term car parks. It's worth remembering that booking an online parking space can help you save money. The airport is located about 9 km from Amsterdam. You can get there by rented car or by public transport.
Meals
Transavia Airline passengers can use the on-board store and choose an option from the menu. The carrier offers hot and cold drinks, juices, alcohol, snacks and sandwiches. The menu also includes gluten-free snacks. Unfortunately, meals at Transavia Airlines are not included in the ticket price.
Additional services
During the flight, passengers can relax while reading the magazine "Enjoy!". Depending on the chosen tariff, passengers can choose seats on the plane (this service can be paid or free), for example seats with more space for legroom or a seat next to the window.
People who travel a lot can join the Transavia Airlines loyalty program called Flying Blue. Registration is free. As part of the program, passengers collect miles for each flight. They can use them in any way, for example, to buy a cheaper ticket for the next flight. It's worth remembering that people traveling with the Basic tariff don't get any miles, however, they can buy them. The membership in the Flying Blue program is also associated with many bonuses and privileges that can be used not only with Transavia Airlines but also with KLM and Air France.

Actually I had a crazy experience with the airline, first I was told to pay for my luggage check in which I have never expirience before, then the worse is that make me miss my flight because from Nairobi I had like 46 kg +10 of the cabin which means I was told to 43kg around 120 euro too bad
