Great trip crew was great nice airline

Bad experience

They double charged me for a bag. I already paid extra for another “baggage in hold” and when I am about to board the plane they say it won’t fit and charged me to put it under the plane. I would have had no trouble checking the bag but not to be charged AGAIN to do so. Very disappointed in this airline. This was for my flight from Lima to Cusco on 7/7.

Baggage policy

Unhappy for not allowing online baggage booking. Carry on light weight baggage charged heavily.

A pleasant trip

I am a big guy and do not fit in regular seats on your airplanes. I paid extra to get all the extras, seat choice etc. I checked in, the lady was very nice, gave me 8C saying it was an exit row. Except it was not. The flight was very full, I told the flight attendant a bit. He understood immediately and moved me to 13C, the exit row. Very pleased with his attention.

Baggage scam

Bought our tickets online (round trip Santiago to Punta Arenas) and it told us we could not check bags for the trip to Punta Arenas. We made sure our bags were carry-on size, but were forced to pay for checked bags when we arrived at the airport because they didn't fit in the "personal item" measurer (although they would fit in the carry-on). Same problem on the way back; we paid for one checked bag and tried to bring an even smaller through as a carry-on but were not allowed for same measurement reasons although there were plenty of people with larger bags as carry-ons and multiple personal items.

Peru flights

Travel with Sky was cheap and efficient. Also on time, which was a bonus.
