Baggage
BA passengers can bring two pieces of hand baggage on board - one cabin bag and one handbag or laptop bag. The baggage may not exceed the maximum dimensions, which is 56cm x 45cm x 25cm for the larger bag and 40cm x 30cm x 15cm for the smaller one. If it does, it will be transferred to the aircraft hold. Children under two years old are allowed one additional cabin bag. A checked bag can measure up to 90 x 75 x 43cm including wheels and handles. Economy class passengers are allowed one piece of checked baggage up to 23kg, premium economy – two checked bags up to 23kg, business customers - two items of baggage up to 32kg and first class travelers - as many as three 32kg checked bags.
Travel Classes
British Airways offers four travel classes: economy, premium economy, business and first class. The premium economy class cabin gives more privacy, wider seats with more legroom, two meals and a free bar service. Business class goes with lounge access, complimentary meals and drinks, extra space to work or relax, and flat beds on long-haul flights. First class passengers are provided superior, dedicated service, have access to spa treatments, luxurious lounges and on-board fine dining.
Online Check-in
Online check-in opens 24 hours before the flight departure and can be done online or using the British Airways application by filling in details such as booking reference and the passenger's last name. For convenience and peace of mind travellers should have their boarding pass printed off to be presented at the airport. Passengers with hand baggage only can go straight through security, and those who have baggage to check can go directly to the bag drop area.

With its 276 aircraft, BA boasts one of the largest and the most modern fleets of any airline in the world, including Airbus A318-100, A319-100, A320-200, A321-200, A380-800, Boeing 747-400, 777-200, 777-300, 787-8 and 787-9.
London Heathrow
London Heathrow is the UK's premier international airport. Originated in 1929 as a small airfield near the hamlet of Heathrow, it grew to be a major world airport with over 67 million passengers annually travelling to more than 180 destinations in over 90 countries. London Heathrow features amenities such as free Wi-Fi access throughout the airport, exclusive lounges, children's play areas and baby changing facilities, currency exchange as well as a wide range of dining places and luxury shops with designer clothes, shoes, bags and accessories.
In-flight Meals
Economy class passengers can purchase meals from the M&S on board menu which features sandwiches, salads, savoury nibbles and sweet treats. Short haul business class flights include a complimentary meal and a full bar service. Passengers travelling in the long-haul economy cabin receive complimentary drinks, snacks and a four course meal, whereas premium economy customers are provided the meals created with the finest locally-sourced ingredients. Business and first class long-haul travellers are provided best quality service, including mouth-watering, elegantly presented meals. First class passengers are additionally treated to specially created tea from Twinings and can use Concorde room dining available at selected airports.
Additional Services
The carrier has a very extensive offer of in-flight entertainment on long-haul flights, including a choice of more than 7,000 digital newspapers and magazines, a long list of movies and TV shows as well as programmes and games for children. Most of the BA's aircraft offer Wi-Fi onboard. With British Airways High Life Store passengers can enjoy duty and tax free shopping selling a wide range of products, from fragrances, accessories, jewellery and gadgets to tobacco and alcohol.

From boarding the aircraft to disembarking the experience was faultless. The staff were the most pleasant I’ve come across whilst travelling extensively.

Worst flight ever
Flight on the way out to Alicante was delayed by 2 hours which was air traffic controls fault so cannot really blame BA for this part of the journey. Pilot was informative and crew professional . Return flight 10th Sept ‘23’ whole different story. Arrived at the airport 11:00pm ready for 01:30 flight, lined up to be told by other passengers the plane has not left Gatwick yet and we will not be leaving until 03:30 at the earliest. Already knew it was going to be a rowdy flight with drunk young passengers who were loud, obnoxious and anti-social in the airport. Board 03:20, had to wait in Tunnel for 20mins, man used his child as priority boarding by pushing past passengers, got his own way. Teenagers/ early 20’s sitting 2 rows in front started because no room in overhead lockers so felt it necessary to call the whole cabin a bunch of c£&ts. Taxied onto runway only to return to back where we started. The family from the tunnel and the rowdy drunk girls from the airport arguing had to be removed from the flight. Luggage removed. Flight finally underway 6am. Staff - pilot apologetic and informative. Crew - nothing, in fact one found it whole thing hilarious and talking with the nasty girls 2 rows in front allowing them to goad the police to remove the other passengers and calling out names, swearing, chanting. This behaviour was clearly ok for the crew member. They should have also been taken off.

Run out of food
They run out f coffee and tea by the time they got to row 20 going out. Coming back there wasn’t any sandwiches or Crisps. Plus flight was delayed by 1 hour.
