Air Algerie

The Airline Air Algerie is the national carrier of Algeria. From 1947, the planes of the airline were flying to Europe and landing, among others in Paris, Geneva, Basel, Marseilles, and Toulouse. From December 2013, they are entirely owned by the Algerian government. Air Algerie performs over 30 domestic flights and regular international flights in over 40 destinations, serving around 30 countries in Europe, Asia, North America and the Middle East. The Algerian carrier lands, among others in Beijing, Montreal. Has a signed codeshare agreement with Aigle Azur, Royal Air Maroc, Tunisair and Turkish Airlines. In addition, it provides cargo services as well as a service operator. Air Algerie airlines have four companies under them: Technics Air Algerie, Air Algerie Catering, Domestics and Air Algerie Cargo.

The Algiers airport

This international airport is located about 17 km southeast of the Algerian capital, the city of Algiers. It is named after the former president of the country, Houari Boumediene. In the terminal building, passengers have at their disposal several cafes, a restaurant, art craft shops, toys, perfumeries, wine bars, press and music salons, bookstores, pharmacies. Three car rental companies cooperate with the airport, and their service points are located at the international terminal parking lot.
