Baggage policy
Passengers could take one piece of hand baggage on board without any additional baggage fees. Purses or bags for cameras/laptops had to be packed in the hand luggage. The hand luggage could not exceed 10 kg in weight and 55 x 40 x 20 cm in size.
Passengers could have up to 4 pieces of checked baggage, each piece not exceeding 32 kg and the dimensions 100 x 80 x 30 cm. The weight depended on the selected booking class (20 kg for the Classic travel class and 32 kg for the Premium travel class).
Travel classes
Blue Air offered 3 booking classes: Light, Classic and Premium. All of these classes are offered with free check-in.
Light class guaranteed the lowest fares and had one hand baggage included in the price.
Classic was for passengers who wanted to have extra small checked baggage (20 kg) and wanted to choose their seat. Passengers also had a 50% discount for any date or route change fee.
The Premium class was associated with a larger admissible registered baggage (32 kg), the option of choosing a seat, free meals on most routes and had no fees when changing the reservation.
Blue Air check in online
Passengers could take advantage of free online check-in 30 days before departure. The Blue Air check in online option could be used no later than 12 hours before the scheduled flight. After making any changes to the booking, passengers had to check in again. Online check-in was possible on almost every route at Blue Air. Exceptions were flights from, among others, Lisbon, Palma de Mallorca or Tel Aviv.
Blue Air fleet
The fleet consisted of 30 narrow-body passenger planes Boeing 737, series 737-300, 737-400, 737-500, 737-700 and 737-800.
Blue Air headquarters
Blue Air had its main base in Bucharest-Otopeni (Henri Coandă International Airport). This airport is very popular because it's the largest airport in Romania.
Passengers can take advantage of numerous cafes, shops, Internet spots and also a chapel.
The airport is located about 16 km from the center of Bucharest. It is well-communicated thanks to trains, buses, taxis and car rental companies. However, the company has its operational bases in other locations, such as Bacău, Cluj-Napoca, Constanța, Iași (Romania), Alghero, Turin (Italy), Larnaca (Cyprus) and Liverpool (the UK).
Blue Air menu
Blue Air offered hot and cold dishes, drinks, sweets and snacks. The offer could vary and depended on the route. Hot meals were served during longer flights and on flights to/from Bucharest or Sibiu.

Blue Air additional services
Passengers could also purchase a bus transfer which was available for the following route: from Constanta or Brasov to Bucharest-Otopeni airport. This service was available during the booking process.
When it comes to domestic routes in Romania, passengers could take one piece of checked-in luggage of 20 kg, free of charge, and they received a free snack on board.

First flight with Blue Air
I travel to Romania on business Using Blue Air was convenient for where I wanted to fly However the only down side was that I could not take my hand bag as well as hand luggage - which is not ideal when travelling business.

Everything was very smoth and nice
The staff was nice and helpfull, the airplain was clean and the flight had no delay.

Bag carry on size
20cm width carry on size and everyones bags checked before boarding. £95 fine if 21cm !

Not so good
Dont was so good travel, we pay extra to choose our seats and to have more space at the legs and nothing happen , was a surprise to see our seats
