Antalya is a picturesque city in south-western Turkey, set on the Gulf of Antalya on the Mediterranean Sea. It stands in ancient Pamphylia, at the foot of the Taurus Mountains, and is the administrative centre of Antalya Province. It is best visited in spring and autumn, when temperatures are milder.
