Krakow
Kraków, the former capital of Poland, is situated in the southern part of the country on the Vistula River. It is the second-largest city in Poland and the central hub of Lesser Poland. Renowned for its rich history, it served as a royal city and the necropolis of Polish kings. Highlights among its tourist attractions include the Wawel Royal Castle, the Main Market Square, and the Jagiellonian University. Kraków enjoys a temperate climate, with spring and summer being the best times to visit when temperatures are pleasant.
