Corfu Town
Corfu, known as Kerkyra, is a mountainous island in the northern part of the Ionian Sea, close to the coast of Albania. It is part of the Ionian Islands region, and its capital shares the same name. The island boasts a rich history dating back to ancient times when it was colonized by Corinth. Don't miss the Temple of Artemis, a fine example of Doric architecture.
