Preveza
Preveza is a picturesque town in Greece, set in the region of Epirus on the strait connecting the Ambracian Gulf with the Ionian Sea. It has around 19 thousand inhabitants. The ruins of ancient Nicopolis lie nearby, which makes it an appealing destination for history lovers. The town was part of the Septinsular Republic between 1800 and 1807. Average summer temperatures reach 30°C, while in winter they drop to 10°C. The best time to visit is late spring or early autumn, when the weather is milder.
