Georgia, situated at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, is a country in the South Caucasus with a coastline along the Black Sea to the west. Its capital is Tbilisi, and it shares borders with Russia, Armenia, Turkey, and Azerbaijan. The landscape is predominantly mountainous, featuring the Greater Caucasus range with its highest peak, Mount Shkhara (5,193 m), as well as the celebrated Mount Kazbek (5,033.8 m).
