Brindisi
Brindisi, a port city in the Apulia region of southern Italy, is situated on the Adriatic Sea. Its name derives from a Messapian word meaning "deer’s head," referring to the shape of the port. In ancient times, it was an important center for trade and metallurgy. Today, it is a key hub for the chemical and energy industries. The climate is Mediterranean: winters are mild (about 9.5 °C), and summers are hot (around 25 °C). The best time to visit is spring and autumn, when rainfall is at its lowest.
